Hey Young Church!

Check out these awesome events coming up in the diocese:

The Light is on for You: Every Wednesday during Lent from 6-7:30. Come and experience Christ's mercy in the sacrament of Reconciliation. Churches that will be hosting these nights are Our Lady of Mercy, St. Thomas More, St. Aloysius, St. George and Immaculate Conception in Denham Springs. They will take place on Mondays as well at St. Jean Vienney

Divine Mercy Chaplet: Our Lady of Mercy in Baton Rouge, St. John in Plaquemine, St. Isidore in Baker and Ascension of Our Lord in Donaldsonville will pray the beautiful Divine Mercy chaplet following their 6pm mass on Tuesdays during Lent. The chaplet will be followed by Benediction. The chaplet will take place on Thursdays during Lent at St. Thomas More.

Stand Up for Religious Freedom: Join in with people from across the United States on Friday March 23rd to stand up for religious freedom in our nation. The event will begin at 12 noon on the steps of the State Capital. In select cities across the nation, rallies will be taking place simultaneously to stand for our faith and our freedom. If you cannot be there in person, take some time Friday to pray for the leaders of our Church and for the leaders of our nation as we face the challenges ahead.
